Aviation Parts Library is a free, searchable reference database of general aviation part numbers extracted directly from official manufacturer Illustrated Parts Catalogs (IPC). Every part number, nomenclature, and applicability code on this site comes straight from the original manufacturer documentation — no guessing, no third-party data.
Our goal is simple: give mechanics, restorers, and owners a fast way to look up a part number and find it on eBay or Amazon without wading through paper catalogs.
All part data is extracted from official Illustrated Parts Catalogs (IPC) published by the original aircraft manufacturers. IPCs are the authoritative reference documents used by FAA-certificated repair stations and licensed A&P mechanics worldwide.
Each catalog entry includes:
- Part number — the manufacturer's alphanumeric identifier
- Nomenclature — the official part name as listed in the IPC
- Figure & item number — the exploded-view diagram reference
- Quantity per assembly — how many are used per parent assembly
- Usable-on codes — which serial number ranges the part applies to
This site is for reference and identification purposes only. Part numbers listed here should always be verified against the current, approved revision of the applicable Illustrated Parts Catalog before ordering or installing any aircraft component.
IPC data can change with service bulletins, airworthiness directives, and catalog revisions. Always consult a current, FAA-approved IPC and a licensed A&P mechanic or FAA-certificated repair station before performing any maintenance on a certified aircraft.
